Maxa Technologies plc signs up Unicomp to supply Cognitive spares

At its European Partner Conference in Lake Como, Italy, Maxa Technologies Plc (formerly Axiohm plc) announced a partnership with Unicomp for supplying Cognitive spare parts.
Distributors and end-users may now purchase individual component Cognitive spare parts directly from Unicomp if they require the spares in component, as opposed to kit, form.
Andrea Irving, Maxa Technologies’ (Maxatec) managing director, said, “This is an important agreement for us as Unicomp can supply an additional service to our customers. We only supply spares in kit form and Unicomp will now be able to take care of customers who request individual components.”
Based in the UK, Unicomp specialise in handling spare parts and stock spare parts for Axiohm, Transaction Printer Group (TPG), Cognitive and Epson products.
Mike Burgon of Unicomp added, “We are very pleased to be adding Cognitive to the range of brands for which we offer spares. We have a good relationship with Maxa Technologies and, as a result of this agreement, we can grow our business through their customer base.”
Maxa Technologies recently played host to over 60 European distributors at its annual Partner Conference in Italy. As well as rewarding its channel partners, the event was marked by the change of name from Axiohm plc to Maxa Technologies plc. Maxa Technologoes’ new logo and strategic direction were presented at the Conference.
