Andrea Percival, director of Maxa Technologies (Maxatec) said: “This new product is part of Maxatec’s drive to build up our arsenal of fast receipt printers and to keep our existing and potential customers supplied with competitive and up-to-date technology. We select products carefully and strive to ensure that there is differentiation enabling our resellers to have the ‘edge’ in a highly competitive arena.”
Adding, “The real USP for the MT-40 is its speed, it prints at up to 120mm/second, whilst producing high quality receipts or tickets which makes it one of the fastest 60mm receipt printers in the market to date. Other key USP’s include the clamshell paper loading as well as the overall tough construction. Both of these features make it a very tempting offering in the current in-vehicle marketplace. We will be releasing details of our first large installation of these printers in the coming weeks, but suffice to say the testing that the product has undergone during the trial period has been extensive in a particularly harsh environment, and the product came through with flying colours. The full roll out of more than 1,000 units continues for the remainder of this year.”
