Axiohm plc is appointed as a Master Distributor for Extech

Axiohm plc, a subsidiary of Axiohm Transaction Solutions, Inc., announces that it has been appointed as a Master Distributor for Extech Data Systems. Axiohm plc will be Sales and Support Centre for Extech’s printing product range within Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Axiohm plc is the European Sales Headquarters for Axiohm Transaction Printer Group and Cognitive Solutions, Inc., both subsidiaries of Axiohm Transaction Solutions, Inc. According to Axiohm plc Managing Director, Andrea Irving, “The addition of the Extech portable printer range complements our existing product portfolio, and fits with Axiohm plc’s strategy to continue to develop its position as supplier of quality products, peripherals and services.”

The Axiohm plc/Extech relationship provides Axiohm plc and Extech with an opportunity to develop their existing channels and creates a strategic alliance for sales co-operation in the bar code printing and POS markets.

Extech designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of portable receipt printers, which are available in a variety of configurations – including integrated card readers, thermal and impact technologies, wireless communications (802.11b, Bluetooth and IRDA). Extech printers are high speed, innovative, rugged, reliable and easy to use. Axiohm plc will distribute Extech’s suite of printers for numerous applications, including retail EPOS environments, hospitality, line busting, mobile computing and more.
