IT services provider enables in-cab receipt and invoice printing with its Advantage LX barcode printers

Today, specialist IT provider Maxatec announces that TouchStar technologies has selected its Advantage LX barcode printer product for their TouchPC range of mobile IT systems, provided to the fuel distribution, transport, retail and manufacturing industries. The printer is used to issue payment and invoice receipts in-cab and on-board transport systems.

Maxatec Launches TSC Duo of 2” Barcode Printers

The company adds two new two-inch printers to its range of printing solutions.

Today Maxatec announces the availability of two new thermal barcode printers for desktop label printing, the TDP-225 and TDP-225W, which are manufactured by TSC Auto ID Technology Co. Ltd. Maxatec enters into Distribution Agreement with Group Sense Mobile-Tech Ltd adding GSML’s Handheld Information Products to the Maxatec Range of Mobile Computing Devices

Maxatec has signed an agreement with Group Sense Mobile-Tech Limited “GSML”, Hong Kong, to distribute its range of mobile computing devices in the United Kingdom.

Group Sense Group, ISO-9001 and ISO-14000 certified company, was founded in 1988 and is now one of the leading manufacturers of electronic dictionaries and other rugged handheld information devices. In 1996, the Group launched the world’s first PDA device operating on a Chinese language platform. Since 2000, the Group has been manufacturing the Xplore series of PDAs, featuring magnesium cases, bilingual user interface and ‘open-platform’ operating system to enable companies to develop customised applications.

Maxatec launches the new portable thermal printer: APEX 4, lightweight, wearable printer with high speed communication for USB, Bluetooth and WLAN

14th July 2009

The new APEX 4 battery operated portable thermal printer is the third in the APEX range of lightweight, wearable printers for mobile computing applications and enhances the recently introduced 2″ and 3″ portable receipt printer products.

The APEX branded printers use a flash based, highly integrated CPU and the print mechanism is a new clamshell design from SEIKO that has a rated print speed of 3 inches per second.

Maxatec Extends its Range of Mobile Computing Devices by Distributing SAMMI Information Systems Portable Products in the UK

Maxatec has signed an agreement with SAMMI Information Systems Co Ltd, Korea to distribute its range of SmarTerminal Computers in the UK.

This really is a strategic move for us as we have been looking to extend our range of mobile computing devices for a while and by signing up with SAMMI we can deliver a much broader offering to our network of resellers in the mobile market. Maxatec launches CognitiveTPG’s New Kiosk Printers for the self-service applications sectors

28th April 2009

April, 2009 – Maxatec is all set to launch CognitiveTPGs new Kiosk printers, the K798 and K799, as part of its drive into the retail, self-checkout, healthcare, hospitality and banking self-service applications markets.

Andrea Percival, director of Maxa Technologies said: “The self-service sector is starting to take-off and the launch of these kiosk printers will take us into a different and very relevant market.

The K798 and K799 thermal printers incorporate the same platform technology as the Cognitive A798/A799 Point of Sale receipt printers.
