Maxatec August Round Up

Once again, another 4 weeks has flown by and it seems we are at the end of yet another month. July News Round up

As you know, every four weeks we like to cast our eyes back over the past month and publish a quick summary of the latest events in the world of Epos and mobile computing. This month has seen many interesting developments, such as Barclays’ decision to spend £1 billion on a retail technology and operations overhaul. This could be related to mobile service provider Verizon’s decision to attempt to displace credit and debit cards with smartphones.  Also the UK High Street has seen a much needed boost due to the beautiful weather, with people choosing to head into town rather than to the beach.
