Maxa Technologies plc, (Maxatec) is pleased to announce the appointment of David Taylor as General Sales Manager.
David Taylor joined Maxatec in 2000 as Sales Manager for Nordic Regions, he then moved to Distribution Sales Manager in 2003. David has achieved great success in both these roles, developing the Maxatec distribution sales team and increasing distribution sales by more than 200%. David has now been promoted to General Sales Manager for Maxatec with effect from 1st October 2004.
In his new position, David will be in charge of the whole Maxatec sales team and will have responsibility for developing and implementi ng Maxatec's UK and international sales strategy. David's main objectives will be to maximise the effectiveness of the sales group, develop the existing sales team and continue to improve the support and service that Maxatec offers its customers and network of business partners.
David will continue to report to Steve Berry, Director of Sales at Maxatec. Steve Berry said, "We are very happy to confirm David's new promotion, we are sure that he will take on this new phase of his career with his usual enthusiasm and professionalism. Maxatec is looking forward to an exciting future as an independent, forward thinking company. We will continue to introduce new products and alliances and David's role is key in implementing this strategy through the sales team.
