Axiohm plc announces Cognitive's wireless Code Ranger

Axiohm plc, announces the launch of Cognitive's Code Ranger printer with radio frequency 802.11/ 802.11b options. Code Ranger is a lightweight portable bar code printer and is now available with Infra-red (IrDA) and RF wireless communications options.

Code Ranger weighs only 0.56kg and prints at 4 inches per second, 30% faster than comparable printers. It is extremely rugged and can sustain a 2 metre drop to concrete and still print. Two models are available; 2" or 3.125" media roll capacity (outside diameter) which means the Code Ranger has the largest media capacity in its class, three times the capacity of the competition.
