Blazepoint launches its new range of high-quality bar code label printers in January 2003. The printer range, marketed under the brand "Blazeprint" combines a high performance printer capability with compactness, ruggedness and innovative technical standards.
Blazepoint offers 2 models - the Blazeprint DUO and TRIO. The Blazeprint DUO is a direct thermal printer housed in a tough all-metal chassis designed to withstand harshest environments. Print speeds of up to 10 inches per second guarantee fast throughput and allow high-volume printing. The 203 dpi print resolution of the Blazeprint DUO Series is suitable for most label printing quality needs. Its high performance and economic price make this printer series the market leader in price/performance in its class.
The Blazeprint TRIO label printers use direct thermal or - for applications where long-life printing results are crucial - thermal transfer technology.
The Blazeprint TRIO Series provides high speed printing capability of up to 10 inches/second in an industrial grade metal case capable of working in toughest environments. Both models offer serial, parallel and USB interface as a standard. Ethernet connectivity and WiFi for easy wire-free networking will be available as an option.
Each printer will be shipped with a Windows label design software, which includes an upgrade path to meet the extra needs of almost any label printing application. Advanced Windows drivers are available to execute printing tasks from any Windows software application.
