Belgravium's 2003 Supply Chain Seminar

Belgravium's 2003 Supply Chain Seminar - A truly unique event!

The latest in a long line of Belgravium-hosted Supply Chain Seminars took place on 9th April 2003, and proved just how effective one day away from the office can be. The seminar "The Impact of IT on Supply Chain visibility" brought together 350 delegates with companies delivering the cutting edge in Supply Chain technology.

Maxatec exhibited desktop and portable bar code label printers from Cognitive and portable receipt printers from Extech.

The National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, was the venue; its central location was ideal as delegates and exhibitors traveled from all over the UK, Netherlands, Greece, France and Germany.

The Delegates

Sponsored by The Institute of Logistics & Transport, the event attracted 350 high-calibre delegates, mainly from the Warehousing and Logistics sector. The delegate list was largely 'blue chip', including representation from the following companies: Wella, TNT, EMI, John Lewis, GlaxoSmithKline, BMW, MFI, Tibbet & Britten, Siemens, L'Oreal, Bernard Matthews, Mitsubishi Electrical, TDG.

The Verdict

The afternoon plenary sessions were well attended, which is a good indication that the event attracted serious supply chain professionals rather than people just looking for a day out!

Post-event, delegates completed feedback questionnaires and the figures speak for themselves:

  • 89.4% respondents rated the event useful or very useful
  • 97.3% delegates rated the event overall as Good or Excellent

"...the event proved to be amongst the best first quarter conferences staged for the
industry."
